The driver was very fast (even reckless), rude and wouldn’t listen to my directions. Worse still, he couldn’t even be bothered to load or take my suitcase out of his car boot. I had to do it by myself – the first time this has ever happen to me in Singapore.

I arrived in Singapore on January 27th and using your taxi service 2 times per day and today I had Mr Armoy service and I would like to say he really knows how an ambassador should treat his customers!

I’m writing to request an investigation of a $80 cab fare from Changi Airport to Swisstotel Merchant Court that my employee had submitted as a claim. The receipt is handwritten and titled as Singapore Taxi Transport Association with the above said license plate. Such a high charge of one-way taxi ride from airport to the Clarke Quay area is unheard of. I’m planning to bring this matters to the authorities and Mothership.com but I’d like to hear from you first on a reasonable explanation. Thank you.

The driver picked my mother and I up from across the street.. We waited for almost 10 mins seeing people taking taxis who waited few metres from us.. We were getting annoyed because they came after us but they got the ride first.. Eventually a taxi came and the driver actually made our trip worth it even though it was not that far.. Not many of your drivers are like this.

Its 2019 but taxi scam is still a thing. I am really disappointed. So this is a formal complain to taxi driver with the car plate number SHC 6137P.
My friends and I took his cab at approximately 1:15am 3/2/2019 at Plaza Singapura taxi stand. We had two locations to go to which are Bedok South and Baungkok MRT. At the very beginning of the ride he asked us which route to take to go to Bedok South. My friend directed him the shortest path and he knew how to go. So after alighting my friend at Bedok South. He immediately first try to go into the deep end of the car park before making a three point turn even though there is clearly enough space to do a 3 point turn on the spot where my friend alighted. I immediately corrected him. After which he didn’t counsel me on the ideal route to take so I assumed he knew his way. However, I was wrong. After passing Bedok MRT he just went straight into PIE(Taus) and wanted to go to CTE(SLE/TPE) then AMK ave 5 then Baungkok which is one of the longest route anyone can take to Baungkok from Bedok. There are tons of ways that will take me to Baungkok at least 10 mins faster. I realised something was missing when he turn into PIE(Taus) while we were at still road. I questioned him about it and he said he wasn’t familiar with the route…
Please tell me how is this uncle in his late/early 50s do not know Singapore route and is a taxi driver… I really don’t get it. He had a GPS but doesn’t use it. He could have asked me like he did with my friend but he didn’t. I’m really not trying to give taxi uncles a hard time because I know their line of work is hard work but if you are out there just trying to scam people. You are giving a bad rap to the company and your industry. Fares that usually cost 20 plus dollar with midnight charges ended up costing close to 40$. I’m not pissed off about the fares but the effort you take to scam me could be better use to pick up another passenger.
Dear cab company, please give revision to routes of Singapore before even giving a license. This is an embarrassment .

He did not know where I was going and didn’t tell me. When I told him he missed the turn and needed to the next turn, which was a distance. I told him to off the meter. He replied that I get off the cab.

Foreigners always give feedback on Singapore taxi driver’s bad habit. Was hoping to change the image of Singapore taxi drivers.

In the morning on my way to the airport to send my family off, I dropped my ezlink card with important photos inside my card holder on his taxi. I only figured I lost it in the afternoon and when I called to check if I dropped it during the ride, Mr Sim confirmed it and arranged to meet me after his working hours. I felt bad because I had to trouble him so I told him I can go to a MRT station near his house which is at Woodlands but he said it’s okay and when he finished working, he immediately drove to below my block to pass my card to me (I stay rather far and at a inconvenient place at Canberra Cres).
I am very grateful for his kind act and he has been nothing but helpful during the whole journey in the morning and when he returned me my belongings. He came out of his car to help my mum and grandma to carry the luggage up when he could see that we were struggling and he even helped us carry it out when he dropped us off. His service attitude is the best among all the cabs I’ve taken in Singapore and I am very touched that there is still such a kind hearted person in this current competitive society of Singapore.
Thank you Mr Sim! You really made my day and I hope you can continue to spread your positive attitude to all the passengers you meet!

I had the most enjoyable ride this morning. The drive was smooth and safe, and Mr Riduan (SHC8829M) was a thoroughly professional and friendly driver. He took me along the route I requested, was efficient and drove comfortably (no jerking on brakes!) and was a lovely conversationalist who regaled me with lots of fascinating stories. He is such a professional. It started my day on a happy note. Thanks Mr Riduan!
