SHB1414C – Taxi driver had argued and shout at me

I taken taxi as usual this morning from Joo Koon to Keppel Tuas after waiting at Q

He was upset when I told him take inside security gate to office

He told inform next time before get in and he has some other appointment.

When I tried to convince him he shout shut off.

Dear TransCab

i hope this email goes to the higher management.

We have sat so many cabs and frankly, yesterday journey is the most pathetic ride.

We took this cab at 540pm from Serangoon North Ave 1 to Punggol. It was a Sat 9/11/2013. Once we got up the cab, we could smell strong cigar smell. those that older generation enjoy smoking. The front windows were winded down. Shortly, when we were in the cab, uncle questioned us what is the smell we brought in. it was 20 sticks of otah. He complained that the next passenger will complain about the smell. My hubby suggested to wind down the back window. Uncle shouted back and said the smell will not move away.

Question… if otah smell is this bad that will cause a passenger to complain, may i ask, what about the smoking smell he left behind before we hopped on?

It took me 24hours cooling period to write this email. please look into this matter

“I was picked up from Singapore Zoo to my residence and upon reaching destination, and after paying for the fare, the driver mumbled something that I did not understand, and when I asked him if he was talking to me he did not reply; when I asked a second time, he YELED at me that he was talking to the phone. Extremely rude chinese driver, bald.
I called your costumer service assistant and was put on hold for over 5 minutes, “

Hi, I just finished my cricket match at around 12 noon at51 Soon Lee road. This cab # 7471 M was showing a green ‘available’ as he approached, coming via Soon Lee drive. I waved as a clear sign of wanting to take a trip, and he suddenly turned his status as ‘Busy’. He sprinted past me and kept going…it clearly wasn’t a case of him going for Makaan. I want to share this experience as this is just not right. The area anyway doesn’t have many cabs since it’s not a big residential hub, and such attitude from cab drivers only makes customers’ experience worse.

The Citycab taxi driver busy talking with phone and I was already told him my location. He seem like not really care and pass over my block that I stay. I don’t really mind actually at first, and I just told him to turn over. And his turn up his voice and told me, you should remind me that where you wanna stop, i tell him that I busy taking out my money and I already told him lot of time where I want to stop. But he scolded me that you are the one who should know where you have to stop. And you are the one should care.Really fed up with him, since he really busy with the phone , I rather his just stay at home and talking with his phone.

 

Prime Taxi SHD2522G – Extremely rude taxi driver

Taxi driver Mr. Lim Tian Chin should be reprimanded and given a severe warning for his unprofessionalism and curt remarks causing a great discomfort to the four of us.

Mr. Lim did not wait for the four of us to settle down as we entered the vehicle and started scoffing to our female friend, “”you all don’t have a family face”” while pointing his fingers to the back. It felt very personal. He carried on rambling to the back passengers while still driving.

We understand there are frustrations from a bad day drive, but this attitude and behavior is definitely uncalled for. It tarnished the reputation of the company he’s representing severely. I hope corrective actions will be taken upon him. I think it is not fair that the company reputation to be spoilt by such a rotten apple.

 

Comfort Taxi SHB2407 – “Best Driver Ever”

He is without doubt one of the ‘best’ drivers I have ever encountered. He is definitely very concerned about losing business for himself and the company. He constantly reminded me that it was peak hour. This reminded me of the ‘great’ service he had done by waiting 5 minutes for me with the meter running. I hope the $5 I paid for that 5 minutes is sufficient to pay for his lunch that day. By the way, I had wanted to go to Shenton Way after dropping my child off at Jurong West. He would have made about $30 to $35 from the trip. Hope he managed to pick up a lot of customers since it was peak hour. He might have more if he had waited and sent me to Shenton Way.

Just returned home from an overseas trip and was hoping to just get a quick cab ride home since I live in the East side of Singapore. Once I boarded the cab, I told the driver I would be heading towards Sims Drive/Geylang Lorong 17. The driver didn’t answer me whether he heard my request or not but since he proceed to remain silent, I presumed he knew where he was going. When he exited the highway through Paya Lebar, he quietly skipped the right turn at the first junction; which leads straight down to my house. Instead he took a big loop. The moment I told him he could have turned right on the first junction, he blatantly said, “”The traffic was too busy I didn’t see.”” If he had known the way to where I was going, busy traffic would never have been a factor to hinder his judgement on where to turn. Once we got off, he blamed ME for not telling him the destination point properly when I already said VERY CLEARLY AND LOUDLY that I was heading to Sims Drive/Geylang Lorong 17. I was absolutely frustrated and pissed off by his irresponsible action. The way he behaved it is as though he wanted to earn a few bucks more by taking a big loop instead of going the shorter route. And BLAMING the customer is totally UNFORGIVABLE under any circumstances after all we are the ones who contribute to their pays and they should provide at least a BASIC level of respect and service for ALL customers regardless. I do hope Comfort Cab would do something to train your drivers to have better manners and instill some character/integrity in these people.
 

Premier Taxis SHD1534D – Very bad service

1) Driver speed of immediately after making the payment,(did informed him that need to collect items from the boot).

2) on the same day, was informed by the driver that the items had been throw away at the rubbish bin at blk 838 tampines st 82.

Ended my day of work feeling all worn out and sleepy, but this cab driver really make my day. Enjoyed my chat with him all through out from west mall to ang mo kio. He’s a friendly and nice uncle, it’s a pity I didn’t know his name, will definitely want to take this cab again!
