Dear Sir/ Madam
I would like to make a complaint about the driver of taxi SHB ending with 28K (pick up location was 1020 East Coast Parkway at about 12:15 noon on Sunday 1 December 2013 – I booked using mobile number).
1. DISREGARD FOR SAFETY
The taxi driver did not stop at a car park (which is where the taxi was ordered) but on the street – forcing me to cross the street carrying a 1-year old baby in my arms and holding a 3 year old baby plus bags in the other.
He has put everyone in danger by driving off immediately upon entering the taxi. He did not wait at all for us to be seated property and did not allow me to fasten the seat belts of my children. He did not listen when I asked him to wait until at least my children are safe! This is incredible disregard of basic safety, especially including young passengers!
2. RUDENESS
When I asked him to stop driving and wait until everyone is safe and secure – he told me to get out of his taxi! This is totally rude. Also he has never apologised for his behaviour
I find his behaviour below the high standards I am used to expect from Comfort Taxi and I hope this is an unfortunate exception from an otherwise great customer service.

“I am writing to highlight my unpleasant encounter with an extremely rude taxi driver on Saturday, 30th October 2013 at 10pm. I was greatly perturbed by his behaviour which I feel needs immediate attention.
At about 2200 hours, I boarded Premier Taxi 1676C at Outram Park MRT station with three of my friends. As we entered the taxi, the driver (Lee Boon Cheong) was reading newspaper, blatantly failing to acknowledge our presence. When my friend told him our destination, he rudely made her repeat it.
As he drove closer to our destination (Tampines Street 21), he took the wrong turn. When my friend reprimanded him about his mistake, he made no apology but instead tried to fix it by saying that he would make an illegal U-turn if possible, an action which I feel would pose as a safety risk to the passengers. A few seconds later, I told him that we were bearing the extra cost for his mistake. He then blatantly yelled at me, telling me that he would stop the meter if that would make me happy. I asked him why he yelled and instead of apologizing, he deliberately accused me for blaming him for the wrong turn, which was an apparent mistake of his. He toned down his voice when I told my friend to take down his name and license plate number but preposterously tried to convince us not to lodge a complain with reasons like not “”bullying”” a fellow Singaporean.
I exited the taxi with utter disgruntlement and disappointment at the extremely poor service rendered by the above-mentioned taxi driver. Here is my take on the incident:
1) He should have acknowledged and greeted us politely as we entered the taxi
2) He should have apologized for making the wrong turn and stopped the meter without demand
3) He should not have yelled at me when I reprimanded him for his mistake
I hope your company will look into this matter and take the necessary actions on such rash and unacceptable behaviour. This depicts a really bad image on your company, which will only further tarnish it should no action be taken. I look forward to your reply. Thanks

I was running late so I decided to cab down to my friend’s chalet, which was located at SAF Changi Seaview Resort. I on my GPS and directed the taxi driver but he kept insisting the place was near Whitesands. He warned me that if I got the directions wrongly, its my fault. I followed according to my GPS and it brought us to somewhere ulu. I can tell that the taxi driver was kinda pissed. He stopped the taxi and he went to pee in public. He didn’t stop the meter fare. During the journey, he stopped the taxi a few times to read the map, he didn’t stop the meter fare as well. I was on the phone with my friend and he directed the taxi driver but however, he still don’t know the exact location. He stopped the taxi at Changi Beach Club and I asked him to drop me there. I was shocked when I saw the meter fare. $41?! Seriously… And he didn’t even drive me to the destination. I had to trouble my friend to pick me up. I felt cheated. On top of that, the taxi driver was naggy and rude.

“Mr Mahfud Bin, was not only rude in his tone of sentences but also had his bucket/box of belongings at the leg area of the front passenger seat which made the entire trip uncomfortable. That bucket took up about half the area for leg space and there were four of us in the cab, thus there were no options in changing seats. I even asked politely about the items and told him that it was uncomfortable. The response? ‘Yes it is mine. Do you have any issues with that?’ This is outrageously insensitive, rude and unacceptable.
Not only that, he suggested a longer route to our destination which did not make any sense all. He seemed offended that we did not prefer his way which I can understand, but there is no need to be rude.
He should be warned that this is no way to treat customers. This is my very first feedback on any taxis I have ever ridden in Singapore as previous experiences (pretty much bad ones as well) were tolerable, but this one isn’t.
Even if he was having a bad day, he has no right, not a single bit, to vent it out on any of his customers. If so, then just call it a night, he shouldn’t drive and ruin the moods of others as well. Such attitude should not be paired with service and he should be let known that it is definitely not necessary. This not only looks bad on him, but on SMRT Taxis at the same time. I am utterly displeased and disappointed with SMRT Taxis.

From Changi Airport to Pasir Ris. Not only did the driver smile all througout the journey, he was helpful with my luggage from airport n my destination. Unlike most drivers, who will tsk n complain about the short journey. Driver Dennis Tan was optismistic. He didn’t make me feel uncomfortable in any way or make me feel if staying in pasir ris is a crime.
Citycab please have more drivers like him.

I was travelling with 2 toddlers, one is aged 3, another aged 2 from Marina Bay Cruise Centre on 29 Nov boarding around 10.15am. With 2 bags and 2 luggage. Upon arriving at my destination, that “handicapped” driver as what I feel he is, just sat at his seat, and looked at me, offloading my 2 kids, 2 bags, and 2 luggage from the car booth, where my 2 years old was standing there crying. Did not manage to take down his name, but, after I offload, I quickly take down his car plate number. Then, called the customer service hotline which sucks as well, put me on the music for more than 5mins, then line got cut off. Double sucks!

I was in the taxi with my children and the driver was driving at around 120km on the expressway. I told him to slow down because I was worried for our safety but he ignored . He was tailgating the cars in front of him and had jam the brakes several times and my sons was all in shock. When turning into ang mo kio st 32 there was a hump and he still purposely accelerate . I asked him why didn’t he slow down for the hump , he still said: the hump so small, scared what! He still threaten me in hokkien saying that I was looking for trouble. When we reached my destination, I told my kids to alight first and I went to the passenger seat area to take a picture of the driver’s ID, but it wasn’t him but a slightly older look man’s ID. He still challenge me by asking me to take a picture of him and still said he wants to smile for me. The whole incident was totally unacceptable and was posing a danger to me and my kids life. I am going to make a police report and a report to the traffic police and even go to the media if this matter is not attended to. Please show me proof of the investigation done and the action taken against this driver.
The driver was endangering mine and my children life in the taxi. And the public safety. Drivers like that should not even be on the road.

My colleagues and I took a cab from Tanjong Pagar Hoe Chiang Road, once we just boarded the cab, within 1 second, the taxi driver said he wanted to go to toilet. So we said no problem, he can go ahead. So while waiting, the taxi meter fare has started and it was when it jumped to $4 then we realized. When Hamzah bin Wahid, the taxi driver came back, we asked him why did he start the meter even before we traveled. He replied: ‘you all also eat in my cab what?’. What has it got to do with eating in the cab when he allowed us to??
And our destination was at Cineleisure, we told him one of the alleys could not be taken and it is only one way. He insisted in going the alley that he said he wanted to ‘try’ and ended going one big round to our destination which adds up to $4 more in a total trip. What an ashamed that Hamzah bin Wahid did all these just to rip us off.
I sincerely hope this has to be brought up and take actions against this driver as I believe there will be more victims along the way and this will give us a bad impression of Comfort.
I hope to hear from you soon.
