Prime Taxi SHD2394J – ★★★★★ Thank you, taxi uncle of prime taxi, car plate no.: SHD2394J

We would like to show our appreciation by thanking taxi driver of car plate no.: SHD2394J. He was so kind to purposely come to our flat unit to look for us. Unfortunately we were not at home. He purposely wrote a note and placed it on our door so that when we are back, we can see it. When we came back home, we were so touched to see the thoughtful note and quickly called him. He told us he was sending a passenger to a further destination and thus, we might need to wait a while. After that, he will come and look for us. We were very grateful to him for his kind and thoughtful gesture. My wife is from China and she was so impressed and touched that she can actually find her lost wallet in Singapore. Now she truly believes that Singaporeans are upright and honest. This is something many countries till now cannot do it and might take centuries for other country people to reach Singapore citizens’ standard. Thank you, taxi driver of SHD2394J. We were with 3 adults and two kids (10 and 7) and according to him our kids were too big which was totally false. The second reason was we lived too close (night safari to bukit drive).

Premier Taxis SHC6495E – ★ Rude and horrible driver

I was waiting for cab with my gal around 2pm at pasir ris drive 1. I hail the cab and he stop in front of me and when I am opening the door, the driver drove off suddenly. He stop in front a distance away and want to take another woman with a baby in hand. I went forward to approach him and ask why he jus move without telling. He came out of the car and start scolding say he want to take the woman n baby business. He said if I am not satisfied jus go and complain he dun care. He will get the woman to be the witness. Nvr see such a rude and unreasonable driver before. He could hv tell me the reason n not move off like this.

Prime Taxi SHD2880Y – ★ Rude

We took a taxi van from changi airport. we were 2 adults & 2 small kids carrying 2 large luggage bags, 1 baby stroller. the taxi driver, Mr Tan Yeow Seng, first approached us to take his cab. my wife asked him how the charges were like at first. he replied that it’s approximately double the normal charges by meter and asked us where we wanted to go. she replied Simei. Upon hearing that, Mr Tan told me to take the normal cab because it’s cheaper. I answered him twice that I could pay. he reluctantly had to accept to drive us. all this while , he also did not offer to help with our luggage. I am very disappointed with the level of service provided by him. he is either lazy to take us seeing us with many luggage and small kids , or he is greedy and only wants to make long distance trip. imagine this is the attitude he shows to any foreign tourist. I would like to have a written reply & explanation from Prime Taxi

Comfort Taxi SHB3845S – ★ Unreasonable rejection of street hired customers

At 20:55 along Boon Lay Drive infront of blk 197B. Blue color comfort taxi. Vacant taxi, with green light . Hired and didn’t stop despite road traffic is clear. Totally unhappy with such an attitude driver. Driver should be recorded of such attitude and be reminded of such unacceptable rejection of customers without valid light indication.

Premier Taxis SHD1083M – ★ Worst experience ever

Worst taxi driver I’ve ever encountered! It’s safe to say he’s the first taxi driver that’s ever pissed me off so badly to the extent I’m even lodging this complaint. I did the taxi booking (@ Blk 151 Serangoon north avenue 2) via the GrabTaxi app with the side note indicating I have a quiet dog with me. Having waited for quite some time and seeing that he’s been around the vicinity (through the app), I decided to call him just in case he’s unsure of where to pick me up. I informed him that I’m at the car park behind block 151. He replied me with a nonchalant voice saying he don’t know where that is at. I myself am not familiarised with the area as I only brought my dog there to see the vet as he’s very ill and weak. Thus I couldn’t give the taxi driver any directions apart from telling him to keep a look-out for a gantry that would lead to the car park. He said he will try to find his way and hung up. I waited for another 5 minutes before he called and said that he can’t find block 151. Judging from the location map, I told him it was near to Serangoon community centre. He exclaimed and said “”So I have to drive out again?”” He told me he was at block 153 and asked if I could head out to the main road instead. I said okay and made my way there. Having waited under the hot sun whilst carrying my dog in my arms, I was perspiring like crazy. As I reached the side of the main road, I noticed his cab driving past me. I immediately rang him up and he told me that he found block 151 and is turning in. I informed him that I’m already along the main road and I saw his cab driving past me. He then replied me “”so how?”” At that point in time, I got quite irritated as my arms were aching from carrying my dog throughout plus the fact that I was perspiring very badly and to make matters worse, his tone and attitude throughout ALL the phone calls were bad, he sounded nonchalant and unhappy. After he mentioned that he was along the gantry of the car park, I told him that I’ll head over now to find him and told him not to move. But when I reached the gantry, he was nowhere to be seen. I looked around and waited along the road near the gantry hoping to find him. Unfortunately my phone died right at that point so I was unable to call him. I waited and waited. Finally I saw his cab. He drove past me a little and I hastily followed. He must have seen me as he slowed down and came to a halt along the road. As I was approaching his taxi, just 2-3m away, he suddenly accelerated and took off. That was the last straw. There was no way he did not see me and I was the only one around carrying a dog in my arms, I’m pretty sure it’s obvious enough to him that I’m the one who did the taxi booking. This to me, is an act of ridicule. Ive been patient enough walking to and fro taking the effort to find him and putting up with his displeased tone and attitude only to get ridiculed by him in the end. I wasted 30 minutes walking around with my sick dog in my arms and in the end I had to get another GrabCar instead. Taxi driver’s name: Png Kay Tong”

Premier Taxis SHD1108J – ★ Cheated

I hope that I recall the vehicle number accurately. The taxi is a KIA model. My colleague and I got into the taxi from The Concourse at Beach Road at approximately 7.15 pm 19 September. We told the driver that we would like to go the Village Bugis Hotel near Bugis. We repeatedly told him at Arab Street and it was near the Sultan Mosque. He insisted that Village Hotel is not in Bugis. 10 minutes later, he drove us to another hotel called Village Hotel, which I do not recall its location. We then gave him the postcode of Village Bugis Hotel. He keyed it into his GPS and drove us to the right place this. Upon arrival, the journey costed S$ 12 plus. We requested for a the receipt which he was unable to produce citing reasons that there was no receipt. He was unable to produce a manual receipt as well. We paid him but we felt extremely cheated. If we did not have out luggage with us, we would have walked from The Concourse to Village Bugis Hotel, which is approximately 10 minutes away.

Comfort Taxi SHA9465H – ★★★★★ Pleasant

I had the most comfortable ride with Mdm How who was super efficient and effective not to mention kind on the road, as well as in conversation. Definitely an asset to the company, if she is what Comfort represents I’ll be happy to use its cabs more often than I do.

SMRT Taxis SHF4600 – ★ Self centered driver

SHF4600 Chinese uncle Taxi driver My son fell sick. It was quite severe. Approximately 1.30pm, I took a taxi from woodlands, to bring my son to visit a physician at outram near holiday inn. The start journey was pretty good until we are near our destination. Apparently, he brought us to orchard central and accused me of telling him the wrong information. Nevermind that, he continued his route to holiday inn at a slow pace. Upon reaching, I told him to turn in towards holiday inn building but he did not and claimed that there is a better path ahead. I was really frustrated as my son was sick and this uncle is being so inconsiderate and irresponsible. We could’ve alighted and paid less but thanks to his self centered behaviour, 15mins of our time were wasted. At the moment, I was really worried about my son as he was shivering despite wearing a jacket. I’m very surprised that such money over safety uncle can be driving a taxi. Upon reaching, he did not feel remorseful at all. I certainly hope actions can be taken against him.

SMRT Taxis SHB5751C – ★ One of the worst rides in seven years!

Driver was impatient, constantly honking, speeding, slowing quickly, tailgating, and swerving around traffic. This was one of the scariest rides I have every had. Then when we finally made it and I went to pay with my NETS card he claimed he could take cash only, said his machine didn’t work and was very rude and angry at me because I didn’t tell him when I got in. When I insisted and he finally tried my card it worked perfectly the first time, no problem with his machine! He was still scolding me as I got out, I have never been treated so rudely.
