This morning around 9am+ At Newton Mrt , once i sat into his car I told the driver I wanted to go Shangri-la Hotel . He immediately ” huh! Shang!” With an annoyed tone! After that he asked me the way to it ” Turn left or right?” In a very rude tone . ( I don’t mind him asking but at least ask properly right?) By the way whole journey he keep sighing for what hell reason I have no idea. When I reach the destination, he asked me in a very annoyed tone where to park the car. Not like I didn’t pay the fare right. Singapore taxi company should really can’t blame the customers to go to grabcar or uber. Seriously ruined my morning.

It was raining heavily on the evening of 25th October and I decided to book a cab to two destinations, with the first being Bedok north street two block 122 and change city point.
I dialled comfort booking hotline and told the customer officer specifically on my pick up location.
I waited at my pick up location but the cab did not turn up after 10 minutes. I decided to look around the vicinity of my block as I understand some taxi drivers may not be well conversant in English.
Then, I found the cab waiting at another sheltered walkway instead of the one which I have specifically told the customer service officer.
When I told the driver that he had waited at the wrong location and I JUST WANTED TO FIND OUT IF THE CALL CENTRE HAD INFORMED HIM OF THE EXACT LOCATION, he did not answer my question and replied me loudly: SO, I WAITED AT THE WRONG LOCATION AND YOU ARE NOT HAPPY IS IT, WRITE AN EMAIL TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ME OR CALL THE COMPLAIN HOTLINE!
I keep quiet and he drove to bedok north. When he arrived at bedok north and passed Feng Shan community centre, he was not sure of where to turn and when I directed him of where to turn, he gave me a very hard stare at the mirror indicating that he was not happy.
I asked him if he was not familiar and he replied loudly again: I DON;T STAY IN THESE AREA AND WHY SHOULD I BE FAMILIAR WITH HERE!
I told him that I am asking him a question in a polite manner and this is not the way to answer my question. Then, he accused me of making a lot of noises when I boarded his cab, which I did not.
My friend boarded the cab at bedok north and we dropped off at Changi City Point alighting point.
He rudely snatched the cab fare $15.20 (inclusive of booking fee and peak hours surcharge) and returned my change without a word of thank you, which I did not expect anyway.
After I alighted from his cab, he looked at me and stared from his cab for a very long time before driving off. This is totally unnecessary and uncalled for.
I have called up comfort hotline and feedback my nasty experience with this driver and I expect an answer by Friday, 28th October.
I will follow up with another email to LTA and Public Transport Council soon as I am totally disgusted with the behaviour of this arrogant taxi driver, Mr Toh (License Plate SHC 1662Y).

I am a Hong Kong Business Traveler who has just come back from Singapore.
I need to file a complaint to driver of Taxi Liscene No. SHD2663H – Name unknown – Male Driver at his 71 years with 4 children and 8 grand children at he stated.
I took the Taxi from Marina Bay Sands Tower 3, at taxi stand, no advanced calling at around 1740pm on 21 Oct 2016 – Friday. I traveled from the hotel to the airport and at the ended, he charged me SGD38 which was completely overpriced.
Along the road, he kept talking about how to write the claim form on taxi and his experiences. He said how he made additionally charges himself when he claimed company expenses. I was reading meters along the way, which was SGD14.66 from MBS to Taxi.
When collecting money, he pressed a button and the billed became SGD31.88 and he said I needed to pay surcharge so the final bill was SGD38 . I had no ideas about the price so I paid.
I felt something wrong so I then immediately asked other taxi drivers, they said maximum it is only SGD27….
At the end, it is not the problem about money, but it is the trust between driver and customers, my trust on local Singaporean. I am quite disappointed.
I have just called Prime Taxi (1145am on 22nd Oct), no one picked up the phone. It is really bad experience with the city but I trust they are just the black sheep.
I hope LTA and Prime Taxi can look into it and investigate. At the same time, I will share this case among all the social platform about Prime Taxi so everyone should try their best to avoid their service.

Took a trip from changi airport to my place in bright hill drive. Driver initially asked which route to take, give me choice of sin ming and Thompson. Told him Thompson. He starts to take the PIE, which was correct. I did not look out during most of my journey, when I happen to look, he has already pass cte exit, thought he will take the top payoh exit, instead he drove further to Thompson exit.
Thinking to myself, it’s OK. When eventually reached destination, he actually charged me extra for peak hr surcharge as well. Even when he gave me the change, I have to ask for the $1 coin which he seems to hesitate to take out, hoping customer may forget about it. Didn’t think much about it that day, only now when I take a look at the receipt, decided to feedback.

After my mother’s appointment at Tan Tock Seng, we boarded the taxi. Bearing in mind that my mother is wheelchair bound and i had so many things to carry and the driver did not have any empathy to at least help me to CARRY the wheelchair and place it in the boot of his taxi.
My cousin was around to see us off and SHE helped me to CARRY the wheelchair in..I’m a lady, small built but to carry a wheelchair on my own needs a MAN’S strength. Anyway… on the way back home, driver was driving dangerously and applying intermittent jerking brakes. Upon reaching, I’ve informed him to turn in left into first car park but he just drove by and i told him to stop immediately and again, he did not get down to help me with the wheelchair even after myself and my mother asking help from him. He seemed to just ignored us.
How rude and incompetent was he towards his passengers. With all the things that i had to carry and hang them on the wheelchair and walked all the way back pushing my mom (she is quite on the heavy side of her weight) on the wheelchair.
I hope the taxi company could look into this matter and to the driver to be a more responsible driver and providing good services to his passengers.

I book a cab was provided my journey from punggol to Tiong Bahru.
Upon boarding the cab he had drove off a couple of distances existing punggol he turn to ask which route to take. I said I replied that I have no preference there is only an express way to that area which is usual. Driver replied that if that’s the case he would follow the GPS and I have to take the roads through Seng Kang to my destination.
My point is would I book a cab not in a hurry getting to where i desire in time or i wanna take the small roads with lots of traffic lights. Got a driver that is rude driver that has no sense of direction.further claim I can complaint if I wanted to hear follows GPS.

I boarded taxi SHB9563C at Tanglin Shopping Centre and told the driver to go to Bt Panjang (BP). His first reaction – I don’t like to go BP, no customers there. Then he added, this hour go there, jam everywhere! I just came from Choa Chu Kang, now I come back again. Later I have to go Mandai ZOO for customers! You know what I mean?
I can feel he is super reluctant to go BP and he keeps complaining BP has no customers!
As approaching my destination, I asked him to turn left. He said he doesn’t eat “”potatoes””, so he doesn’t know “”turn left”” or “”turn right””, so I said “”turn left”” in Chinese.
He asked why I cannot speak in Chinese since I am not potato ( Caucasian).
I am paying for the taxi fare, it is not free ride!!
How can he choose his preferred destination as a taxi driver?
How can he keep nagging?
He really has some attitude problem.
Trans Cab, please look into this!
