Comfort Taxi SHD6908B – ★ Bad attitude and refuses to admit his mistakes

Booked a cab and when he arrived, I waved at him, he ignored. Waved at him again, he did not care. After calling him, he gave tons of excuses. Below are as follow,

1. I asked him, did he see me wave at him? He said he cannot simply pick other people up.

2. I asked him the place that I was standing on can also approach to ask. He said that he cannot simply ask people. I told him if I did not book or see his car’s plate number, why did I wave at him? He said he cannot pick people up anyhow. Keeps repeating the same thing!

3. I asked him why can’t he call the customer? He said his ear piece is spoil.

After about 8 to 10 mins finally he let me board his cab. Inside the cab he still insisted that he’s not wrong.

Please educate your drivers, if drivers do not ask, how do they verify the correct customer? Get a new ear piece if it is spoil, don’t blame ear piece or handphone. And if the driver did a mistake, just admit it, don’t keep on saying that he is not wrong and keep on repeating by saying he cannot pick people up anyhow.

 

Premier Taxis SHD1445C – ★ The driver is super rude

I understand this feedback came in quite late, but I still would like to feedback about this particular driver whose name I was not able to capture. The whole trip was quite smooth until the time where we were about to alight. The driver asked if we have smaller change as we handed him a $50 note. My aunt offered coins so it would be easier for him to find change too as we do not have any smaller notes. He just said “then don’t need” in a rude tone which I feel is super rude of a driver to his passenger. I hope that he would be able to change his attitude towards the passengers as he has ruined the mood of my aunt due to his rudeness. Thank you for taking the time to read!

 

Comfort Taxi SHA8989U – ★ Horrible scary ride and the driver has serious mental issues

Along with 3 of my colleagues, I took a cab from Computer Center (National University of Singapore) to Khansama restaurant (87 Science Park Drive, #02-01). The distance (maps) is 3.2 Km and generally, we pay about 7-8 $. The cab driver first took us all around to AYE but since we did not tell him explicitly so we did not have any problem. We were just chatting amongst ourselves.

While going on AYE we soon realised that he did not take the exit that we were supposed to take first at NUH and then at Normanton Park. He missed 2 exits. Then we told him that you have taken us through such a long route its clearly 4-5 Kms extra than what it should be. Puzzled by the situation, I wanted to give him a chance to explain and asked him, why did you not take the 2 exits? He does not respond. 2-second silence and then I ask him again that I want to simply ask you please at least reply to the question. Complete silence.

I complained to my colleagues that the least he can do is to explain to us. He then replied in Mandarin, that he cannot speak English. This translation was provided by one of my colleagues who is of Chinese ethnicity. Then he started showing rage and started driving extremely rash first at the roundabout at Alexandra road and AYE intersection and then at the Normanton park traffic light.

All of us were scared of what he was doing and we were too stunned to talk anymore. We thought it might be better to simply get it over with and not say anything. But then he started becoming more and more rash and at 2 or 3 separate occasions we came close to colliding with another object or car.

When we reached, we were simply relieved that we reached and just wanted to be finished with him. 3 of us in the back seat alighted and the one in the front asked him for the charge. He first said no need but my colleague insisted that we will pay what is due, he didn’t have change. We payed 12 $ and left. I took picture of his number and he shouted from the car “Ya ya, Take properly”- in English.

Driver went to his own route. Pick up was along Tampines Ave.5 going to Jurong Townhall. Driver said T.Ave.10 jam so he turned left on T.Ave.8 saying he always take this route. We went through 6 traffic lights and a school zone. Driver drives slow even when at right most lane, like always expecting a jam, causing the jam behind. End up costing me $5 more than what i usually pay. Driver very smug, not admitting mistake!

 

Premier Taxi SHD1066M – ★ Rude cab driver

I was waiting for a taxi at IMM. And this taxi came by with the roof stating “BUSY”. Naturally, I thought that it was booked or the driver wanted to pick someone up. So he saw me approaching another taxi and asked me on why I chose not to pick his taxi and then pinning the blame on me for not approaching his cab. Subsequently, the taxi driver was being rude throughout the trip and cursed on the way to my destination. Such bad service. JAYASEGARAN S/O RAMASAMY ROGER is the driver’s name.

 

Trans Cab SHD360U – ★ Unpleasant

The driver continuously shakes his leg inside the taxi, making the journey a nauseous one. His cab also reeks of cigarette smell, adding on to the headache. He is also unsure of the road and continuously asked for directions, which I don’t mind if he had asked for it nicely.

I took the above taxi from Changi airport Terminal 1 at approx 10.30 pm to my friends place at Bedok. I gave the address to the taxi driver, and he told me that he can take me to the street in Bedok but not the exact address. So, when I told him that I am from Australia and really don’t know the place well. He was very rude to me and said that my slang is local and that I should know the address. I told him that he is a taxi driver and that he should know most of the place well, he back chatted me and told ask me do I know the whole of Australia well. In that instance I did not want to pursue the argument with him. When I told him that I might want to make a complain on him, he challenged me to go ahead. Very rude and loud too.

Just now I went to take a taxi to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, I ask the taxi driver to drive faster, he just shouted at me and say “Can you see the jam?!” I was talking to him nicely yet he screamed at me. Please do something about that rude taxi driver.

We flagged the taxi at SGH and told the driver to drop us off at Pioneer station’s coffee shop. The route was clear cut- AYE (just right beside SGH) and exit at Pioneer Route North. But driver took advantage of us resting in the cab/ when we were not paying attention, took a longer route by exiting at Jurong Town Hall and through Boon Lay way where there’s tonnes of traffic light and traffic. (why seriously?????) It was 100% clear the driver lack integrity and took advantage. Trip started at 11:55PM (09 May 2018) and ended 00:20AM (10 May 2018).

Worst driver I ever had. 3 adult and 2 kids ( 2 & 4). Firstly, I have a few items and I need to put in the car boot but the car boot are full of his items. I need to carry them into the car seat with me. Secondly, I have my 2 kids with me (2 & 4) at the back of the seat. I ask him to lock the door in case my kids accidentally open up the door. He told me the door cannot be lock as the lock are damage. He drive recklessly. E-brake a few times because of traffic light turn red.
